Bimix miss

New to injections and I think I missed the mark on injection #4.
Didn't get any reaction except a red lump on the side. Weird looking to say the least. :-\

Doc started me with 27g 1/2" needles and the pharmacy only had 31g 5/16", I'm hoping that's the reason for no erection, to little a needle. :-(

Can I try again tomorrow since I missed the mark today?

True. But if you had a miss, with no long lasting and very hard erection, or none at all, I wonder if it could really hurt anything, injecting on the opposite side?

ISpark, just make sure there is no extra resistance when injecting compared to injecting the air. Sacrifice 1 syringe, fill it with water and get the feel of injecting into the air. If you are too deep or shallow or otherwise missing the mark, it will be noticeably harder to inject. Also, as long as you KNOW you are deep enough to be past the surface veins, don't worry about blood in the syringe. Even with out aspirating, I usually see at least a hint of blood in the in the syringe as soon as I pop through into the cavernosa.

27 gauge needles! Ouch! I was started on 29 gauge, 1/2 in. but switched to 31 ga. 5/16 and they seem to work fine. Had the occasional miss with 29 ga. and 31 ga.

I've gotten that lump before. Used to happen fairly often but have worked out a way to avoid the problem.

When you are injecting try to notice whether the plunger is difficult to depress. If the tip of the needle is where it's supposed to be -- in one of the blood chambers in the erectile tissue -- the meds will flow easily and the plunger will respond to a gentle push. If you have hit a bit of fibrosis or connective tissue there is no place for the meds to go and the plunger will be balky. If you inject there it will make a pocket between the blood chambers, giving you that lump and tending to hurt a bit. What I have found with those tiny little needles is that when the plunger doesn't want to move, instead of pushing it harder if I press the syringe more firmly against the side of Mr Unreliable so the needle penetrates another couple of millimeters, the plunger frees up and I don't get the lump.

Other guys will also try pulling the plunger to see if they can aspirate a little blood into the syringe (for the same reason) and that works, too, since you want to inject into a chamber with blood in it, but that's quite a bit of fiddling around with a needle stuck in my member and my way seems to work.
