Can Flomax cause these symptoms?

Had BT July 16 and was doing fine until this morning. Normally I do about 70 minutes on a stationery bike. Any bike is no off limits for 2 to 3 months which has put me on a 4-mile hike each morning.

Had a dizzy, light headed day early on but until this morning I have felt well enough to try and convince thearapist to add some jogging to my hike.

On the way home at about 3-mile mark my left arm started hurting. This pain was accompanied by shoulder, neck, upper pec, and headache.
I found some shade and rested which was not a good idea as this stooped movement led to dizziness. Soo, gut it ought to the living room and head between my legs, first aide. Most pains stooped but cold sweat broke out. Took it easy for the rest of the day avoiding fast rises. And yes I recognized some of the classic heart attack signals and contacted both Gp and BT nurse.

Because my pains haulted once in the living room chair they both felt no heart attack because of recent EKG, blood pressure, and resting heart rate of less than 60. I have appt, nevertheless with Gp.

Have any of you had this type of experience with Flomax?

I had near fainting spells , dry mouth, and nasal stuffiness with flomax.

Trout, yes it's possible. Here are some potential SE's from Flomax from rx.com. See if your doc can give you an alternative or change the dosage.

Stop using tamsulosin and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

feeling like you might pass out;
chest pain;
fever, chills, body aches, or flu symptoms; or
penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 hours or longer.
Less serious side effects may include:

mild dizziness;
weakness, drowsiness;
headache;
nausea, diarrhea;
back pain;
blurred vision;
dental problems;
sleep problems (insomnia);
abnormal ejaculation, decreased sex drive; or
runny nose, sore throat, cough.

Brown Trout, I was put on Rapaflo instead of Flomax after my BT; you may want to ask about switching over to that.

Was put on tamsulosin before the BT. Drop in blood pressure was #1 thing that affected me. BP was 98/62 in the doctor's office a couple of weeks ago. This caused me the light headed feeling. The radiation also seems to make it harder to stay hydrated. My skin is a little more dry. I have been trying to drink coconut water each day and plenty of water. I was urinating every couple of hours for awhile. I also had Lupron on board. Could it be a combination of hydration and drop in blood pressure? Fortunately, I have been off it for two weeks now and seem to be a little more "back to normal".

Thanks guys. GP says heart sounds good and EKG is normal but wants to do a nuclear stress test. I am no sure about even more radiation going into my system in addition to the 81 seeds that are already emitting x-rays. Also have read that a risk factor involved with this procedure is low BP which I already have with Flomax???
