However, continue being vigilant. Keep up with your periodic PSA, and, if the PSA does not drop significantly, you should consider a 3T-mp-mri to make sure that no cancer is hiding in hard-to-reach places.
In my case, the cancer was out of reach of the standard TRUS biopsy which samples only the peripheral zone; it was hiding in the transition zone. Consequently, it took 13 years and 3 previous negative biopsies to finally find it.
