Had my 9 month check and all is well. My PSA is still <.1 and I am back to a normal schedule with a nap here and there. My ED is still there but I am noticing a slow improvement. Not there yet but my wife is very understanding and helpful. My biggest issue is a bowel problem and ironically the only time I have incontinence is when I have a bowel problem. Has anyone else experienced this? I personally think this has to do with nerve compression, but I do have an appointment with my PC doc who is also a gastroenterologist.
Secondly, my Uro wants me to consider getting a Prolaris test on my removed prostate. This test is usually done now at the time of biopsy and can rate the aggressiveness of the tumor. The concept is interesting but I need to decide whether I want it done. Anyone here familiar with the test? One one hand it is more dx information. OTOH, it may lead to over treatment. For reference, I did have PIN and one small focal point at the margin with no extensions.
I would welcome your thoughts.
