Coming off Lupron Depot and Fatigue

I am also two months past the end of my ADT and I share your impatience. I just met with the vampire last week and while my PSA remains undetectable (*yay*) my testosterone was still only 14. It takes this crap a long time to wear off. I am still well within the castrate limits at two months. You will have to be patient. In the meanwhile you can go on blaming all of your problems on the Lupron (and you will probably be right.)

My last 30-day Lupron shot was in March. At my June follow-up appointment there was no change in how I felt, which was rather depressing. At that point, my T was 29.

But it gets better! The past few weeks I've started feeling like I've turned the corner and, in fact, my T level was up to 176. So in my case, it was about 5 months before I started coming around. And I hope I'll continue to improve as my T level works itself back into the normal range.

You guys just might need to hang in there a bit longer...

I just got off Lupron and zoladex after 2 yrs being, been off for 4 mos now my psa is already rising so oct 27 im going back on,, because it takes at least 6 mos for zoladex to wear off, I just begain to feel good the last mo, side effects are not that bad, take some pain meds and antideppressints, and you won"t feel bad at all,,, I fell 4 wks ago and fractured my 7 and 8 ver in my back, now that hurts like hell, dr said it should heal up in 6 mos, hope so good luck kenny

Lost 20 lbs on the Lupron (6 day/wk workout) and aside from the hot flashes it beats the hell out of the alternative.
