Interesting. Before my cancer went metastatic to the bone about three years ago, I experimented with some fringe approaches to slow my PSA velocity. After reading about some studies which investigated the use of disulfiram to restore tumor suppressor genes I ordered some online from Britain where it was available without an rx. The drug has been around for ages and it's primary use is in treating alcoholism. It did seem to stall my PSA at the time but it was a bit difficult to tolerate and I really wasn't sure of the results. Really screwed up my evening martinis also. Not aware of the copper research.

Yes looks like mets in lymph nodes. Only one shows up on scan.

My second adt2 holiday lasted 2 months longer than first. May be the avastin?

Hi Jim,
They are experimenting with different dosages and other drugs to make it more effective without the stronger side effects.
Interesting that instead of starving the tumors of copper there overwhelming them with high dosages of copper.
Hope it works for all of us.

Well it's a discovery that has drugs available to test right away not 3 to 5 years away.

Yes Todd lock and load maybe we will see positive results.

Does anyone know if other organs in the body concentrate copper? We know it is an essential nutrient. Maybe it appears to be concentrated in the PCa tumor simply because there is rapid growth.

It would be great if PCa gave us something to target.
