Well 9 days down and done everything is going ok so far. A few more gas issues than have had since my surgery, and a few more often BMs but I feel ok and when I met with the RO today he seems to think everything is going well also.
I am wearing a different hat each day of my treatments. When the mail was delivered this morning I had a box from a old HS friend who attended K-12th grades together back home. He now works for one of the major NASCAR teams...against his better judgment he went over to one of the other shops and met with my favorite driver Denny Hamlin and had him sign a hat for me. He told Denny about
me and my situation! and that I had served in the Army for over 21 years, Denny then gave him an autographed die cast to also send along with the hat and told him to tell me thanks for me service and hope that everything goes well. So I got three hats in this box today so I wore my friends team hat today, will wear a NASCAR Cup hat tomorrow and on WED my 11th day of treatments wear the signed #11 hat. Everyday I post a selfie of the hat of the day #differenthat on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram you can follow my progress if you want visually @WAORGANY thanks again for everyone who keeps supporting me and this journey...I have more hats than cancer has cells and the RO has planned treatments!!! I have close to 1k hats and more friends are sending more hats!!! Very greatful for such huge support base. Wore a hat last Friday from the hometown brewery where I grew up! It also came in the mail that day....sharing the love #differenthat

Almost two weeks completed well 13 days of treatments which technically is more than two weeks....only 22 more treatments to go...felling ok had a bought of being fairly run down a few days this week as well as excessive upset stomach, just took it easy and actually too a few naps which I never do. Pretty easy and straight forward...drink a bottle of water at 1230, leave my house at 1:00 at the hospital by 1:15-1:20, update my fb status and #differenthat picture post on FB, Twitter, and Instagram, go inside, stick my head in the control room, and go straight into treatment room, drop pants , wrap in towel, place feet n legs in mould, lie Dow n hold blue ring with hands on chest, line up lasers with tattoos, mtwo short shots to figure out where everything is, table adjusts a little bit...bottom, left, right then top zaps, between 8-15 seconds each, techs come back in ANC pull me out and away I go, back home in under an hour! Let's just hope try are killing all these cancer cells

He txd them with Lortabs...hated pain pills in the past but it really helped RO says they slow peristalsis helped a lot. It has been almost a year since his radiation and good psas since:) Keep us posted. ALISON

29 treatments done 8 more to go! Met with Doc on. Monday, and told him about
butt burn, took a look and gave me the rest of the week off and put my on Silviedine cream. Glad to gave a break, was already gonna miss today and tomorrow, so just adding the two missed days to the end! light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately found. Out my little brother, 47, Ichabod, has PCa now too, G6! Happy Thanksgiving!

Well this week draws to the close of my SRT treatments. Today would have been my last day, but thanks to two extra days off during Thanksgiving week, due to a bad burn and irritation they gave me two extra days off which I will make up tomorrow and WED. I guess now it's back to the waiting game. It will be kind of strange not going to the hospital every day for treatments...37 treatments is. Long time. Now it's time to hopefull get the body back to a normal condition, see Nout fixing the inncontenance and ED issues and get back to doing something productive, like a job, or starting my own business. I am currently working on my MBA but I need more than that to occupy my time. Thanks again for everyone on here who has shown support and words of wisdom. Hope that this is the end of my treatments and this is just a bad nightmare that goes away for good. Now it's time for my younger brother, ICHABOD, to fight his PCa battle! All the best.

Congratulations on the endurance and completing the treatments with only the few days off due to the over burn.
Get some rest and keep us posted.
