Congrats on making your decision. It was a great relief for me when I made my decision and the set the date for surgery.
Now take the coming weeks to prepare your body for surgery. Watch your diet, loose a few lbs. if you need to, exercise like you are preparing for a heavy weight fight because you will be and start learning how to do Kegels. They will be your friend in weeks following your surgery.
You will be walking a lot after surgery so you might as well get started now so it becomes part of your routine. I love to walk 3 miles a day now, even 2 1/2 years after my surgery.
