What was your treatment option and what has been your post PC treatment orgasm quality experience?

Mine has been somewhat less shooting blanks as compared to +p loads before.

At a year post-op, I am definitely unhappy about the quality of orgasms. Some people claim that the quality of orgasm gets better over time. But, I think it's clear that it will never be close to the same for me.

At almost 3 years post open RP, orgasm quality is barely passable and definitely much worse than before RP.
For the first year post RP, orgasms were extremely painful with severe spasms for about 10 seconds. They did improve slowly after that.
Also my biggest surgery regret, but better than cancer spreading thru my body.

My boyfriend had surgery.  He's resigned himself that they won't be what they were.  We were at the VA once and a doc described it as a "blunted orgasm."  Right on the money.

My orgasm's are as strong if not stronger than before my surgery. No questions the skill sets of the surgeon are important as are a multitude of other factors and the simple truth we are all different and heal differently. My Dr. had me on low dose Cialis almost immediately after surgery and encouraged me and wife to begin "play" very early on which we did.
I feel for you guys and hope with time/drugs you will get your mojo back.

I'm a radiation guy with no ejaculate. It's still the same process and even feels like something is coming out, just that nothing does. On one hand I think they don't feel quite as good as they used to, but as I'm recovering from HT I don't have much in the way of libido so that colors all of my thinking when it comes to this.

I started on low dose Cialis as soon as the catheter was out. I started with a VED a couple weeks later. I've been having orgasms since about a month after my surgery. I used Trimix early on and now I can get by with Cialis alone. I've been doing everything I should. Both nerves were spared.

I think my situation is exacerbated by taking testosterone. My lidido is like it was when I was 18. But, the orgasm doesn't really happen. Consequently, I feel constantly aroused and unsatisfied. I know that this is a small problem compared to many here, but it is my life at the moment.

I'm constantly think of the Meat Loaf song "All Revved Up With No Place To Go". My wife is a willing partner, but she is frustrated by my frustrations as well.

Radiation here: Orgasms painful at times (subsided largely), very intense (same as before), less ejaculate (miss it).

"Consequently, I feel constantly aroused and unsatisfied." per dmlvt described when the orgasms were painful. I just held back having them.

How common is pain on orgasm? Is it the norm, or the exception? Are there any stats published?

Mine are electrifying and over the top. THey are awesome. Cant get an erection but can have the most satisfying orgasm ever. I enjoy it more now than before just wish I could get it hard

I've posted several different threads about my lack of firmness and the different enhancements I've tried and tell the truth, my sexual experiences have been less frequent but when they do occur they are certainly as rewarding as before. I believe there's a lot of pressure put on ourselves about our level of performance post treatments and this only adds to the frustration. Hows' that song go "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm good once as I ever was"

Ditto with Wade, they're really better.  Only problem I have is I can not get an erection, but we feel this is from other factors besides the surgery.  In the whole scheme of things, not complaining!

I'm only a month out of HDR, and have had 5 I think.

The last two were dry as a bone, but good still. I wouldn't say they were just as good as before, but they were still pretty great.

I've found I could easily break a record for quickest orgasm if I put my mind to it. I think that'll get better though.

Not too sure about the stats. I remember a 30% figure but that could have been brachy guys only. It feels like an spasm - sort of - or like jabbing needles inside maybe. It's not a good feeling. "Hurts so good." I believe I read it goes away, after 1-2 years, but forget where.

Since you are lucky enough to still have good orgasm, have you considered a penile implant?

I think they are as good or better overall.

That said they are completely different and I would say they are much longer often not as good and often way better. Prior they were almost always very similar.

So that sure thing not there but being able to is frankly amazing because when this all started I thought I was f ' ed every way to Sunday.

What I think work everyones different but holding on for as long as possible until you no longer can is key.

For me, orgasms are much harder to achieve and much less pleasurable than before surgery. I've come to accept this as the "new normal", even though Dr. Mulhall believes that I will see improvement in the future.

I am 6 years post surgery, 5 years post SRT, and couldn't be happier in this department.

Never had even a trace of ED, yes, miracle. Once I got use to the "dry" aspect, learned quickly, that my orgasms were intensely great. Last much longer, perhaps 3 to 4 times longer, come from way deeper inside, almost heart stopping at some times, but what a way to go.

I have a very active Cowper's gland, so I get the sensation of releasing fluid most times, not every time, that is genuinely convincing, always surprised that there is nothing there when I am done.

Ever since I completed the 30 hyperbaric treatments for my dental surgery back in October, my errections seem even harder and longer, and the orgasms even more intense most times. Those treatments are suppose to enhance all one's blood vessels and arteries, so perhaps, even though I wasn't having any problems, it just made a good thing even better. Can't prove it, but seems that way, so no complaint out of me.

Considering my left nerve bundle was removed in surgery, and my right side was left, but noted damaged, my entire story seems to defy medical sense, but its the honest truth, have nothing to hide and no reason to lie.

Perhaps this is my silver lining to what has, and continues to be, a long and painful journey with no end in sight. Least I got something positive out of it.

I also have more of a bodily feeling than pre-surgery orgasms. Not as intense, and libido is somewhat diminished.
