I hope to see you in April Jeff but will check out my wife's schedule as fall might be better for me. I hear tell that you throw a mean GFMPH!

Yooper start clearing for Rochester. It will be the last weekend in Sept. Wish you could come to BR, Louisiana.

Hi Cajun Jeff.

I just registered on the forum. I have been helped by this forum since diagnosed in April 2013. My wife and I are considering coming down from Colorado. Is there still room? We would need to get airline tickets. I will need to post to the Gleason 9 thread which I hope to do soon. But the sound of all that Cajun food and meeting others in our situation makes us want to make plans. I can send you an email of mine is listed in my profile. Thanks

Happy birthday Goodlife.

Hope you and your spouse can make it DonJ.

Last time about half of us were G9 and the other half had either no issues since RALP or various isssues related to ED or Incontinence.

My spouse and I have been to two in Rochester, one in Florida and this will be our first official GFMPH at Cajun Jeff and Mama Pat's but we have visited them twice when en route from FL to CA by car.

Great folks as are all the host couples, not to mention the other attendees.

At our first GFMPH I knew the culture from posting on this board, but had some mild concern whether Karen would enjoy it. Long story short, she immediately was made to feel welcome by all, and we will try to make each GFMPH going forward.

Thanks Lupron Jim. I think it would be really good for my wife to meet the other wives. It will be great for me to see the faces behind the names and advice I've been reading! I will wait to hear from Jeff as to whether to plan to stay at the hotel he is reserving.

United has some pretty cheap tickets, Don. I think they wee $229 round trip. We got our tickets about a month ago on Southwest for about the same price. Dr. Crawford was my 2nd opinion. I liked him a lot, and he spent quite a bit of time with me going over my treatment options. I ended up having a friend do my surgery here in Greeley.

In your email include you flight times and city. Or driving in. Contact info. Will do my best to make a spreadsheet

Paul - I am lookiing forward to meeting you. I was with Dr. Crawford for about a year and then due to advice I had read here to get a MO, I saw Dr. Flaig USC (Anshutz Cancer Ctr). He took over my treatment immediately switched me from i month Degarelix shots to 3 month Lupron shots. He also recommeded ART due to my pathology. So far so good.

Jeff - I will send you the email for our itinery. I went to a local Cajun cafe to get a copy of the menu. I think I will start eating there weekly in anticipation of GFMPH!

With great weather this past weekend got a bunch of things done outside for the gathering. Stacked firewood for the nightly fires. Hope to have trees cut in 2 weeks. Menu is getting close to being set. I think we will have 5 RVs in the yard. Deserts are being selected. Should be good food and great conversations. Pat is working on some events for the wives.

Still not too late if someone is on the fence.
