Bob has spent the last two plus months in a hospital and has decided to make his way home. May God bless this very wonderful man. He's home and has decided to let the sand run out. While I hope it never does his heart and attitude is amazing. He is in home hospice and I hope he posts again here.
We have had a great warrior in Bob Parsons. I pray for peace and love for him the rest of the way...

Tony
Saddened by this news. Thank you for sharing.
Zufus - thank you for replying to my emails at a time when you had every right to ignore me. Special thoughts for you tonight. So happy you are able to be home. I wish you peace and love that far exceeds any pain or suffering. I know others here have known you far longer and more personally than me but I hope you know that your attitude and your path is felt and known by so many more...

Here's a Welcome thread that Ton'y created for Bob a few years ago:
www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=35&m=1330679
It gives a good overview of who Bob is.

Tony, Thanks for the update on Bob aka Zufus.
Bob, if you are still reading posts here, I hope you are comfortable and not in pain. I have always appreciated your humor and satirical take on all of this mess from the disease, treatments, medical profession, hospitals and insurerers. I also appreciate the advice I have been given by you both directly and indirectly through your post. Wishing you only the best. You are a good man with a great heart.

Rest easy Zufus. You were the first to welcome me on the Wednesday chat and I've read every word you wrote afterwards. Your humor and zest for life became a lesson on living to the fullest for me and the rest of the gang.
Our best to you,

hi Zufus, someone said that the mankind and the earth beneath it are dependent on the small number of men who can love and care. You are one of those. You have helped me and my father a great deal. Hope you are comfortable. Brave, you have proven long time ago. Hugs.

Thanks so much for all you've done. I am saddened to learn of your predicament.
I also appreciate all the support you've given me.
Take care. I hope you manage to beat these odds and stay with us much longer than expected. Most of all, I hope you are comfortable and pain-free. It would be a bonus to hear from you, if you are at all able to post!

Bob, it is a rare person who makes such a lasting impact on other people, most of whom he has never met in person. So you are the man, the wise man, and thanks for all that you have contributed to the quality of this forum and to so many individuals, in your very own unique way. I am better man having known you through HW.

Steve,
That was was a perfect recall, thank you. I never forgot the negative posting against Bob at that time. But this SOB was right! I was a moderator that year here. i had decided he was staying no matter the negativity.

Tony, thanks for the update on Zufus. Though my heart is heavy with sadness - for him, for his family and loved ones, and for those of us who have known him all these years - I am confident that our beloved Zufus will face this final chapter with the same grace, wit and dignity that he's always shown. When you next talk to Bob, please assure him of our prayers for a peaceful exit. And please let him know that his spirit will live on in those whose lives he has touched so deeply and eloquently.
With hugs and kisses from Sephie and her John
