Going back under the knife again tomorrow morning early. I'll probably be a bit sporadic in my posting the next few days. Please mind the other moderators while I am away.
Thanks.
Oh, and as for the "New Member" thing. Bit of an exaggeration there. I'm having the old one refurbished.

lol@new member. I hope it has all the bells and whistles you and your wife could ever want. I wonder if they take videos like they do of birthin' babies these days (another thing I really don't want to see). You know I'm all about
staying in the present moment, but maybe it's better to keep your eyes on the prize with this. My thoughts will be with you - good luck!

This doesn't have anything to do with a transplant and a former Olympic champion does it?? Just sayin'.

Peter,
Welcome to the new member club, everything will turn out good-er than you expect. Make sure that assistant surgeon is covered by your Insurance plan, They had me sign releases after my anesthesia I think..my assistant was "out of network" I don't even know who he was, so I still owe him thousands!!! Wow -- now that's a coincidence if ever. I have not been on for quite a while and I was just looking for you to see if you were going through with the procedure and I gather you are. I am so eager to hear how you make out--- you have been so helpful to me -- looking forward to every detail of how it goes for you. -- best of luck --- this sounds great!!

I haven't checked in for a couple of days, Peter. Good luck with the surgery. You were having the "buy one get one free" procedure as I recall. You will be be a walking billboard for the AMS company.

Just a quickie. Typing on my phone. I think I set a new record for a cuff revision. They
opened me back up for a bigger one before I came out of Anesthesia. And my hernia patch is showy too. One big incision, eight laporoscope punches and two big sheets of mesh. They are keeping me in the hospital until my pain is better controlled.
Thanks for all the prayers, good wishes, and for laughing at my joke.

Good to hear from you.
Keep healing. Don't let them send you home too early or without the 'good' drugs.
