Well, I did see the vampire late today.

I should get results on Wednesday, hence the APRIL tests moniker.

Might as well open this up and have any of youse April guys post here.
For me, I hope it's not April Fools Day!!!

April is the month for my PSA, but I have a fun filled colonoscopy scheduled for Thursday so I am going to wait until next week to see the vampires.

No tests for me this month, but I do have a brother that just began the bone marrow transplant process today and the ultimate test will be whether or not his body rejects it or not.

Here on the PC front, I'll be cheering everyone on...

I remember that first test well. I was a mess for about a week prior, but I've got to tell you that feeling you get when everything is good is beyond words. I'm back to yearly tests now, but the anxiety and then joy are still the same. Its just the way I'm wired. I thought with time I would get used to it, but it is the same. You'll do fine--I still look at signatures too.

Tom, this is actually ny second. First test was 6 weeks post op, came back at <.02. This is 6 weeks later so 3 month test. After this I go to every three months for 2 years

If you were good at 6 weeks, you will most certainly be good at twelve. Good luck!!

Just IN.

Got my PSA results.
I don't have my stats sheets (I'm at work).

This is second-hand.

As I recall, my PSA was almost 6 just before starting HT.

After about 6 weeks, it went to about 0.25.

Two months later, it is now 0.09.

I THINK this is very good. I was fearful that the shoe would drop (ie: HT not working).

While not undetectable, it still might get there.

Comments?

Oh, the message also said there was a "very slight decline in renal function" so they will watch that.

I'll get the hardcopy later today.

As I recall, last time that happened we stopped the Metformin and the Fosamax and normal function returned.

Mel, great news. Let's hope the slide continues to UnD. So now the worry is over for a few months, go back to living and loving life.

.05 on my VA annual physical. It went from 40 to .2 after combo brachy and IMRT and has been dropping for 6 years.

That's a great April drop, Mel. We'll report back next week-Jim will be in Bethesda Tuesday, 7th.

Had my blood draw this morning at Quest, Doc should have results by Monday, don't know whether to wait till my Friday appointment or call/email for the results. If its not undetectable, I would rather be there to talk to the doc.

Prat, Since the odds are so good that your PSA will be undetectable, I'd call or e-mail rather than wait!

That is a great drop, 98.5 % since your DX, now it is as close to zero as your lab probably can detect, so celebrate brother, Take care and Keep the Faith!!!

Yup, im handling it better than the initial shock of diagnosis, but since the minute I walked out of the lab, I've had a small knot in my stomach, which I know wont go away until I get results. I suspect that I'm not much different than most others though, at this early post op

Bob's second post op PSA test is April 9th. Praying for more 0's! @Pratoman, I thought your blood draw was the same day as Bob's did you up your date?
