What are some things to watch out for when using a VED?

1. Don't hurt yourself comes to mind.
2. You will probably have to trim down yonder to make it work well.

Here's a thread that I started a couple of years ago when I was a new VED user.

Some of the comments seem to have been edited out. Not sure why. I don't seem to remember any problems with the thread.

It talks about the problem of scrotal tissues being drawn into the tube. I think for most guys that can be avoided by pumping slowly and giving the tissues a chance to expand at their own rate but for guys with so-so arterial flow who need more vacuum it can be a vexing problem.

One thing to watch out for is not using it or alternatives such as injections or pills. If ignored for too long it will atrophy and the length you lose will never return. You'll end up with a extra thumb at full mast. A VED with a gauge is nice since it gives you a safe range and a "better not go there" reading as a reference.

I do use mine with/in conjunction with my injectable...I haven't had any problems with that..you just have to use some caution.

I had to start this , because I had problems with the TRIMIX, and the strength of my stepdown injectable just doesn't quite get the job done...

If you use a battery operated unit, always keep a spare battery handy.
Get quality bands...cheap ones won't do..
I have to use 2 bands...I think it was Billy-Bob who wisely suggested that.. It works well...A bit of discomfort, but manageable..
A good lube also is a must...water based only..
