Hello, I joined this forum shortly after my RP in August 2013 with the intent that even if I didn't have any unique insights into prostate cancer and treatments that I could at least provide an accurate data set. Still no value in my understanding of pCa, so here's the data.
My pathology after RP was Gleason 3+4 with one positive lymph node. There was a small spot of < 1MM on 1 out of 3 examined LN's. My urologist and I decided to closely monitor PSA and take the next step when PSA reached .1 which it did 19 months post RP. I did hit .03 at month 4 but have seen a steady rise to .1. Not what I wanted, but what I got.
I'm scheduled to begin SRT without ADT on 4/27. Treatment will be 39 total sessions at 1.8 gy for a total of 70.2. The first 25 sessions will target the full pelvic lymph nodes and the final 14 are directed at the prostate bed. We're using the Truebeam STx which I'm told is a good ride. The radiation oncologist likes to get a PSA at 4 weeks so that's the next data point in the journey. Chose not to do ADT based on insufficient data for SRT, which might seem surprising for someone who just wants to play the odds. So my data will be without ADT.
I'm thankful for all the great information on the forum and hope to provide data for many years to come.
