I started peeing blood on Sunday.

Four hours in same day care ruled out the obvious. No infections, nothing obvious in a CT scan.
No visible blood Monday thru Wednesday. More blood today.

Yesterday, as it happens was my sixth anniversary since surgery. I had a follow-up appointment with my uro set for July. He's moved it up so I'll see him in a bit later this afternoon.

I have a feeling that nothing they do to check this out will be pleasant.

Sorry you have to deal with this. Sadly the process for checking it isn't the least bit fun. Hopefully it won't be too uncomfortable.

Do let us know what the doctor says. Does sound like you need to get the URO to look at it.

From what I understand, a cystocscopy sounds much worse than it really is. I've never had one, so I don't know for sure. What I've read is that it's uncomfortable but not painful. Hope you find it smooth sailing.

I'm a couple of years further along than you are in the post-SRT journey, and am very interested in what is up in your situation.

STW: I've had more cystoscopy's than I care to remember but if you ask your Doc. to give you something to relax you a little it'll help. They're not too bad overall, it sounds like you may possibly have an issue in the bladder neck area that could have been caused by your SRT. Mine didn't show up until 5 years after my SRT.
