Ok, I can see that many people in this forum are using conventional treatments as am I (hormone therapy). However, a friend and client of mine suggested Ambrotose from Mannatech, Inc. Now they are a MLM company and for the most part I discount MLM sales pitches, but this friend has known several individuals who have used this product with good results.


Essentially Ambrotose is a glyconutritional dietary supplement that improved cel to cell communication and is designed to help boost your body's ability to stay healthy.



Anyone have any experience with this company and its product line?

Yes, I have used it.

I used it multiple times a day between diagnosis and surgery.  Have used it some since then.

Impossible to know if it helped...but it sure as heck did not hurt.

Hey Jack,

According to Wikipedia Sam Caster (founder) has a history of problems with the Texas Attorney General's office and SEC. Also it states that independent research indicates the product you mention if useful if you are interested in increased flatulence.

I'd strongly suggest you read about Mannatech on Wikipedia!!

I don't see how flatulence is relevant to this discussion, but I have been using the product for almost 2 months & haven't encountered that problem. Also, I understand you were interested in people who have had experience with the product, not what negative press people can find about it on the Internet, right?

Anyway, it's true that the Texas Attorney General has been unhappy with previous claims by Mannatech associates (not by the company itself) tying the product to the curing of specific diseases, so associates are strictly told that they can only talk about how the products "improve quality of life" and may be able to help people with their "health challenge". It's an awkward little dance, but it does prevent the company from making promises to people & getting into a jam later on if it doesn't work for that individual. They do have a 180 day $ back guarantee, so apparently they are fairly confident that their products work, even though they aren't aloud to promise directly that they will.

I don't have Cancer myself, so my own personal experience may not be of interest to you, although I did read the book Take the Risk, by Ben Carson, a pediatric neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins. He had gotten Prostate Cancer, & as well known as he was for various experimental surgeries, like separating conjoined twins & hemispherectomies as well as from his other books, such as Gifted Hands, people were sending him every natural remedy under the sun, but the one that intrigued him the most was glyconutrients. He noticed that his urinary tract problems went away by the end of the first month of taking them. He did have surgery to remove the cancer, but I found it interesting that he still benefited from the glyconutrients. My understanding is that glyconutrients in the form of Ambrotose are listed in the back of the Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) for Nonprescription Drugs and Dietary Supplements for people with compromised immune systems.

I hope you find the information you are looking for & I hope I'm not too late with this information...

h2ovapor, Welcome to the Forum. As a first time poster, who does not have cancer and who is familiar with a MML supplement, and is stating that you are a user, I must say that you grabbed my attention as to the purpose of your appearance here. I suppose you arrived from a search of the supplements name, and may not have taken the time to read the rules of the forum owner. I would suggest that you read the rules, especially concerning advocacy of health cures , the dangers of 'prescribing' and spamming, just so you understand what is allowed by the owner. You may have the best of intentions, but I suggest you stick to general comments on the subject, without recommendations or suggestions as to its effectiveness or anything that could be interperted as spamming for it, ok? I hope I haven't offended, but want to be upfront with you, as we take this Forum seriously, because it contains men and their families who are hurting, and some who may be searching desperately for a straw of hope to cling to.

One comment I would like to make, concerning your statement that the Doctor has relief of symptoms from Prostate Cancer within a week. You not having the disease, I would like to comment. Prostate Cancer symptoms very rarely appear in victims until very late state or end stage progress of its spread. That's one of the dangers of this cancer, that it has no symptoms until late in its progress. Late meaning when it has left the gland and is in the body, which then makes surgery for it not a part of the treatment. PSA testing and DRE's remain the first line of defense for detecting it. BPE is a common, but not related condition, that may be the trigger for detection of cancer, as it may be the DRE given during the BPE exam that detects abnormal lumps, etc, in the gland and triggers further testing with a PSA test or a biopsy. So, I would be skeptical of any statement by anyone that their 'symptoms' of Prostate Cancer disappeared within a week. This sentence alone with the comment of his having had surgery later is what caught my attention to your post.

If my skepticism offends, I apologize. The well being of our members is my prime concern, I hope you understand, and that I have given you an idea of why people may respond to you in a skeptical manner, if any do chose to reply to this thread.

When it comes to cancer cures, the "quacks" have always been looking for a quick buck.  I do not know anything about the product mentioned here, but I would be very careful about using any untested substances.  redface In addition the potential for a cure is very small.

You should not discount good nutrition and diet.  There are many supplements that could help make you more healthy.  However, if someone makes claims of miraculous cancer cures, you are probably wasting your time and money. nono

As a point of interest, h20vapor has edited the post to state that the Doctor had relief from urinary problems within a month, rather than Prostate Cancer symptoms within a week, as first stated. In that case, I can understand, as several prescription drugs, along with things natural like Saw Palmetto can provide urinary relief. Sometimes our memories fail us when we are relying on them.... rolleyes

I have used Ambrose for over 8 years and will never stop. It has gotten rid of my allergy symptoms and most of my asthma. It also cured my herpes of the sinuses which Accylovir just masked symptoms. I no longer get fever sores and I have had them my whole life. I need less sleep. I had my ex husband on Ambrotose and when he left the marriage and stopped taking Ambrotose his PSI went through the roof and they made him have a biopsy of his prostate. I told him I would get him more if he wanted to go back on it. I think he is nuts not to keep taking it. I believe it works for the same reasons Joel Fuhrman is advising us to eat more of certain vegetables. Our immune systems are not getting what they need from the horrible red meat American diet. If you want to be sick and die earlier stay on that diet.

I think for the cost of advanced ambrotose, if I had cancer I would buy a bunch of it and just start taking mass quantities. If it kicks my immune system into attacking the cancer then it has been worth it. THe scientists believe the simple sugars ensure our killer T cells can correctly identify cancer cells from healthy cells. When you get the right nutrients your immune system can work to keep you healthy.

Welcome to the forum. I'm afraid you may have to forgive me for being a bit skeptical about the efficacy of your favorite sugar pills but do keep us in the loop about your ex and his biopsy. Has he gotten his results yet? Do you know what they were?
