Hello Everybody,
A month after the radiation therapy, we checked for PSA and it was 0.25 and I was told to wait 6 months for retest. So, I went to see my doctor this afternoon and good news, it was down to 0.09. Thanks God. Radiation worked. I will have another test in 6 months and we will pray that it will go down more.

Thanks. Just waking up in the morning is a blessing and making through the day is always a blessing. Hope and pray that it will continue go down and never to go up again.

Thank you for reporting in regularly - it's helpful to follow the narrative. Best to you. Many more arrows in the quiver should they be needed, but you know everyone here is hoping you never need them.

Hello Everybody,
Hope everyone else had a happy holidays. May this new year bring us all good tidings. I havent been logging in to this forum for a while. Anyway as you already knew, I undergone radiation therapy when my PSA went up slightly. Good to report, since then all my tests were 0. My doctor still requires me, which I don't mind, to check every year as a way of monitoring. My only problem is ED. I am taking one 20mg Cialis every Friday and it was working, however, all of a sudden it doesnt work anymore. It's been over a year. I still continue taking once a week. My doctor in VA told me that, once it started to not work anymore then that's it. She told me to consider another way, like injection, but I am hesitant to try it. Any advise, greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think you should investigate whether the cause is cardiovascular disease or diabetes - two of the most frequent causes of ED. It would be unusual for ED to start now from a treatment 11 years ago. Often, ED is a first sign of CV disease.
