Update on Dad and Xtandi

Theresa, so sorry to hear that your dad is doing so poorly. I do hope the rt gives him some pain relief. It is such a helpless feeling when you see a loved one in pain. What is the bone infusion? That's not something I'm familiar with.

Although Dad was given weeks to live about 6 weeks ago and was really unwell he remains positive and has never given up.

This last 2 weeks he has improved so much, he is eating and drinking again, looking much better, staying awake in the day and is alert and bright. The thickness (mucus) in the throat has gone away, pressure sores are looking much better. The signs are that his health is improving. I just wanted to share my positive news as I have often visited this site for information and hope its nice to be able to share a positive. Doctors and Pallitive care team are amazed by his improvement I just say long may it last we enjoy the good times and deal with the bad times. best wishes to you all
