There is truly no better therapy than a twisty road on a rumbling V-twin or a howling triple or whatever your two wheel prescription calls for. I can't believe I went nearly 30 years without one, but work, kids and all the demands of adult life made it easy to dismiss as a luxury I didn't have the time or money for. I guess I am more selfish these days.
Amen to that! There are no motorcycles in front of psychiatrist's offices.
Our cycle therapy is a Honda Gold Wing touring bike, and swinging it through twisties is quite restorative! WE usually put about
10,000 miles a year on it. Sadly, Michigan doesn't have many such roads (any?), and my ongoing HT has rather squashed my desire to do anything at all. I know the side effects are becoming troublesome when my wife nearly has to twist my arm to go for a ride. That's not normal for me,
at all!
