Got my results already from my MRI today, was driving home and doc called frightened me to death! but just wanted to tell me that the cancer was contained and not spread, said He wanted me to enjoy the weekend (due to see him Tuesday 14th for follow up) is that pretty normal or is this guy my new hero??

Anyway still leaning on surgery but who knows still researching!

Sounds like great news.

My URO called me on a Saturday morning after my biopsy. It wasn't good news, but at least I wasn't tortured waiting for the results. (can't win for losing)

looks like your doing pretty good now Steve, (psa levels) are you happy you went with surgery?

Whosnext, your dx looks similar to mine.  You could have high volume and an increased chance of positive margins.  I would press the surgeon to comment on the chances of clear margins and his skill at cutting it all out.  Otherwise, I would be open to RT.  I'm happy with my decision and I don't think I would've done any differently, even with all that I have learned from this forum.  But the +margins have increased my anxiety.
