misselman, your post surgical pathology sounds a lot like mine, as well as your biopsy results. I can say that 5 months after surgery, I'm right where I want to be. I can pretty much do anything I want to do physically. I'm continent to a great level (no pads with occasional drips), and drug-free with no ED.

Surgery is not the end of the world, and SE's are NOT guaranteed, not by a long shot. Let us know how you progress.

Your report sounds a lot like mine only the Gleason went up from 7 to 8 in pathology. I'm 3 months post surgery and I'm fully continent (no pads or dribbles) but still have some ED issues. Good thing I have a patient wife. :) I feel great, too and I'm looking forward to another 30+ years.

Good news on the clear margins. The Kegels worked great for me. You're right about the support this group provides, it really helps being amongst others who are traveling this road. All the best for your continued recovery.
