PSA undetectable again, <0.1 ! This is still under control of hormone therapy, but it's been undetectable since the end of radiation therapy in August 2013. I was diagnosed 28 months ago, so ongoing success is gratifying.
As a cT3 with a G9 5+4, this is a great condition to be in. When I first freaked out upon diagnosis in April 2013, I wasn't at all sure what would be happening over 2 years later!
I did get another 4 month Lupron shot, and at this point in the process I'll likely carry through the whole 36 month sentence. That would mean one more shot about
the first of December, and done.
My MO thinks with my relatively young age (ha), my testosterone recover should be ok. That's one of my larger concerns, but at this point I'm just going for the whole schmear.
Thanks too to all you great guys here on the forum. You're here when I have questions, complaints, joys, fears, and this from a group who really gets it. I'm ever grateful, and stay here in large part to in some small way pay it forward.

Jerry,
That is really something to celebrate! From your stats it appears your Dr caught your cancer early on....hope your success will inspire more men to keep up with early screening. Best wishes!

Congrats Redwing, thats good news! In order to celebrate you should take the advice of the rock group Queen and "Get on your bike(s) and ride!"

Congrats on planning to stick with the ADT through the entire 36 month sentence.
As you probably read in another thread those of us who have been on Lupron more than 24 months will likely take about
a year to get to the low end of normal T.
While that's bad news for the libido, it is good news for the PCa control as the low T will likely help keep the PSA low too.

Congratulations from another G9. Yes, I remember wondering what the story would be 2 years out from surgery too. I am happy for you Redwing.

Congrats!
It sounds like you had very similar stats to my father, he was G9/G10 with seminal vesicle involvement. Had IMRT and ADT.
Knock on wood, roughly 5 years later, his PSA is still undetectable, even after stopping ADT a couple years ago.
Cheers
