I used Thomas Guzzo at University of Penn back in Feb (DiVinci RALP). All going well. The physician assistant referred to the results as a trifecta after the 1st post op PSA, no ED, no incontenience issues and PSA undetectable. Guzzo had a fellowship at John Hopkins and has been at Penn for about
5 years I believe. Did hundreds at JH and I would guess has been doing 3-4 a week at Penn since he arrived. David Lee who is also at Penn and head of Urology Dept. also came highly recommended (from president of Cornell medical school). Lee has done more but also probably has more time constraints as the head of the dept. Guzzo told me he would be the only one at the DiVinci consul.
I think I know where you are coming from on the nerve sparing issue. Don't think you will find a doc that will guarantee that they wont need to take one or both nerve bundles. Sort of depends on what they see when they get there. I just wanted them to know if the decision was in a grey area I was Ok with leaning to keep the nerves.
