I have been terribly lazy posting updates, but I have an excuse. There is really nothing to report until the next milestone: a CT scan to check the dosimetry and verify that there are no cold spots left. That will be in one month from now.

With respect to SE's roughly two weeks from the procedure, the only one for now is mild urinary frequency and urgency. There has been only one instance of burning some days ago, and I have not had to get up at night a single time. No bowel problems or ED at all.

All sounds quite good. Congratulations. With the Euro @ 1.10 against the US$ may be time to get back to Spain.....maybe a winter apartment

Winter is Sevilla sounds fine. But avoid August at all costs!

Time for a new update for those interested in LDR-BT experiences from outside the US.

As you can see in my signature I had LDR Brachytherapy back in February 2015 (six months ago). Since then I had the customary CT scan one month later. Results where normal it seems because I have not heard any more from my radiologist.

I've had PSA tests three and six months after the BT procedure, with results of 3,28 and 2,22. The first result had me a little bit worried since it was very close to my PSA before the operation. But the latest result I just got yesterday seems quite positive to me.

I will visit my urologist next week and but I expect no surprises.

By now I have no Side Effects at all except a certain loss in the volume of ejaculation. I feel like the BT procedure never took place, somehow compensating the PSA anxiety that inevitably goes together with this treatment option.

Congratulations on the PSA drop!

The PSA anxiety is always there. It gets better for some over time.

Great update, thanks. Glad it's going so well for you.

I know I'm an information junkie, but I would ask for a copy of the 30-day update. It has all kinds of good information such as relative hot spots and cold spots, and the dose volume histogram tells you what the dose was to organs at risk.
