Low-T treatment after PCa surgery at 30 months

Hi everyone.

I had my my T levels checked at my yearly, and the doc said they were on the low side, 314 to be exact.
I have been refereed back to my uro for discussion about possible treatment.

What are your thoughts about Low-T treatment after someone who has had PCa surgery and PSA is now 0.01 @ 30 months.

If it were me, I'd wait until I had at least a few undetectable (<0.01) PSAs in a row. Not so much for aggravating any prostate cancer (I'm sure if any were there, your T at 314 would be more than enough to feed it), but because the T might cause residual benign tissue to release more PSA. That would muddy up your readings so that you wouldn't be able to know if you were having a recurrence.

I went through about a year of low T after my radiation, and I didn't care for that one bit, so I can empathize with your desire to boost it.

My July PSA test this year was 0.01, I'm on 6 month testing.

And yeah, Low-T sucks, no energy, can't stay awake, always dragging around, and so far at least, my "desire" hasn't been affected. That's good lol

I should get my T score from 2012. After I was diagnosed with PCa doc wanted to check T levels.
I would be interested to see where it was and how much it has dropped.

I thought the "normal" range was 241 - 827 , which means your T levels are within the normal range.
Maybe there are other reasons for you lethargic behavior? With that T level, you shouldn't be able to not stay awake or dragging as badly as you say.

There are others are the board with single or double digit levels of T and don't have that big of an issue with the tiredness.
