PSA was <1 (since I was 45
PSA 0.9 - May 1999
PSA 1.0 Aug 2001
PSA 0.6 Aug 2002
PSA 0.7 Feb 2003 to
PSA started rising: 2006 previous was 0.8 then jumped to 1.4
PSA 2012 had risen to 5.6
Had first visit with Urologist - DRE normal, opted for no biopsy
PSA in August 2015 - PSA 9.27
August 2015 - Had 2nd visit to Urologist - Had initial biopsy
September 2015 - Biopsy revealed 4 of 12 samples positive: 2 -G7 ; 2 -G8 All located in same quadrant on right side. all others clear.
Sept 2015 had both Bone scan and CT scan - Both clean
Urologists gave
open of Radiation or Surgery and suggested be done soon due to the G8's found
Leaning towards surgery as RT seems to have many more adverse side effects and my thoughts are, take the sucker out as the best option.
Just looking to see what other feedback I might get.
