Why I Post
To share hope
To calm fear
To share the journey
To give comfort
To encourage the next step
To acknowledge the pain
To morn the passing
To cry with the survivor
To help just one soul is all I ask.
Peace,
Andrew

Yes Andrew,
You are a good poet,to be sure, but you are so good at accomplishing what you've set out to do, and for far more than just one soul here.
You have been there for me through all of these.

Very nice Andrew. And you not only talk the talk, you walk the walk. (Not meant to be a poem)

Your posts are always refreshing. They are there so to do as you have said. They are not patronizing or self serving as many have become. You are not combative or a bully.
Your posts are sometimes simple, but they carry such purpose. I thank you for being unofficial welcome wagon!!!

Andrew, besides being a darn nice poem, I think this really gets to the point of why you're such a good contributor. You are one of a handful of people here that really understand how to hit the "sweet spot" in your posts--comforting, informative, but not wandering off into the weeds. Sometimes, I read what I've written and then asked myself "Why can't I be more like In The Shop"?
Really.

Andrew -
I have to concur that you have been one of the good guys on this forum. Not all forums are so fortunate to have posters with the positive, helpful outlook that you regularly contribute.
Keep up the good work!

I often post to hold up a mirror for newcomers with many of the little-known facts about
"prostate cancer" and the big picture of PC care in the current era so that they can get a clearer look at themselves surrounded by reality. I think most appreciate the unclouded view.

Andrew, well said.
This forum (and many of you) was here when I came in freaking out. If I want this forum to be here for the next freaking out newbie, then I need to be here for him (or his partner). All I have to share is my experience and what I've gleaned from various sources of information. All I can talk about
is my experience and how it worked for me.
