Seriously considering TriMix and need some advice

 

 

I am seriously considering Tri-Mix, and somewhat embarrassed to say that I'm a bit squeamish about doing the injections.

 

Can anyone recommend an auto injector?

 

I am five months post surgery, taking daily cialis and feel nothing.

I am 6 months post surgery and get 0 from ED drugs and have been using Trimix for 4 months.  Before surgery my URO discussed treatments for ED after surgery and when he got to injections I told him I would go with out sex before I could stick my self. After my surgery and treatment with daily Cialis that brought no success my URO talked me into trying Trimix.I found myself getting super horny after surgery. Before PC I had always been squeamish about needles but post surgery I have been stuck and prodded so many times needles no longer bother me at all. I bought an auto injector from Amazon and used it a couple of times, but now I inject with out the injector totally pain free. I use a 30ga insulin syringe and it doesn't hurt at all. Trimix works for me and has none of the side effects of Viagra or other ED drugs. It is inconvenient some as it takes away the spontaneity of sex but it is better than the alternative of no sex. My wife has enjoyed sex with Trimix and the longer erection it produces. I have dry orgasms with Trimix but afterwards the erections stays around for my wife's enjoyment.

The first injection should be in your doctors office and you will see how little it hurts. It will take a few injections before you find the right dose that works for you so do not get discouraged at first, as those of us on trimix all use different doses to get a good erection. I was using .70ml until my URO changed my mix to a more concentrated dose and now I use .32ml.  If you have any other questions send me an email.

Rocket -- Don’t be embarrassed about being squeamish. I think most guys are horrified when faced with this. “You want me to stick a needle WHERE???”

Before my surgery, I was hoping that I wouldn’t be faced with that because I didn’t think I could do it. I had talked to some guys that had done it; I read about it on this site … they all said it didn’t hurt … Well, they were right, it really doesn’t hurt. Maybe a tiny mosquito bite is all. I truly think it’s mostly the idea of doing it that causes the apprehension. And like Water Guy said, after being poked and prodded and probed, how bad could it be? It seemed like it was worth a try. What the heck!

I’ve been on injections for 4 and half months now. It’s a really small gage needle like those used for insulin. Mine is a 29. And I’ve never used an auto-injector. I didn’t even know such a thing existed. Frankly, now that I know, I’m still going to keep using my syringes; it’s just not that big of a deal.

I’ve never tried Cialis, but Trimix is better than Viagra, both in terms of results and in spontaneity. I don’t have to worry about when I eat, and it works quicker too. I’m ready to go in 10 minutes or less versus having to wait an hour, and then hope for the best. And I have no side effects like I do with Viagra. Pills are just facilitators, Trimix is an initiator.

And here’s another way to think about it … injections not only make it possible to have sex, but they’re also for rehabilitation. My doctor wants me to have an erection that lasts at least 10 minutes, 2 to 3 times a week. He says erections of at least 6 on the hardness scale bring new blood into the penis and that helps rehabilitate the nerves. I was only getting 5’s at best with Viagra. So I inject 2 to 3 times a week and the other nights I take a 25mg Viagra.

I think you should give it a try. If I can do it, you can do it. I remember the first time I injected at home was the first time we’d been able to have sex after my surgery. Prior to that my wife and I had become discouraged using Viagra and were thinking we’d never be able to do it again. But then, shazamm!!!

I am a firm believer of injections and Trimix. It is so worth it. I hope you give it a try. Good luck with your recovery.

Being three months post surgery and no more then 70% erection,I asked my surgeon this week about the Trimix. He wants me to stay with the oral meds for now, but reading all these post I am curious and excitied to try the Trimix.

I use the Owen-Mumford Autoject II. It uses standard syringes which you insert into the device after filling with the drug. You then find the injection spot and press against the skin and push the button. It then inserts the needle to the correct depth (adjustable depth) and slowly pushes the plunger in to inject the solution. I found a YouTube video which shows how to make the process even easier by using a rubber band on the device.

Was surprised and annoyed at myself for waiting 6 years to try it pain was next to zero erection in approx 7 minutes first in 6 years was marvellous the feeling felt like a man again don't wait as long as me it's all in the mind .

I have a somewhat curious question....

My take from your posting leads me to believe that your doctor or PA/Nurse had not given you your first orientation or do the first injection of Tri-Mix in there offices, I'm I correct? I've only heard of a few men that were given the Rx and writing instructions for the use and injection process.... I also have a friend that started on Tri-Mix and fortunately has a buddy that's a surgical RN, which uses Tri-Mix and offered to give instructions and administer the initial shot....which all worked out well. Yet that's a rare find.

Appreciate feedback on your initial injection...
