9 month post surgery checkup

I had my 9 month checkup and blood draw today.

PSA <0.04. YAY!!!!!

"How's your stream?" no problem
"Up at night?" once in a while
"Leaking?" nothing to speak of
"Erections?" just fine, thank you
"We'll have you come back in 3 months, then cycle you to 6 months"

Great news, Halbert!

6 weeks out I spoke with my doc via telephone. He asked about the usual stuff--leaking, erections, and and general wellness stuff. My next phone appointment was at 3 months, just after my first post-op PSA, and he asked me about incontinence, erections and penetration. Caught a bit off guard, as the wife and I hadn't tried that out yet (I blame her, LOL!). I have to speak to him again at 6 months (February) and I'm sure he's going to ask again about these things. I think when he does, I'm just going to hand the phone to my wife and let her answer!

It was funny.....I actually saw the NP (female), and when she asked about erections, she kind of smiled and asked..."are you able to complete the mission"?

Halbert, i know i dont have to tell you how happy i am for you, after reading this report! Congrats. Hopefully we each get another undetectable in January and February, then celebrate together in April at GFMPH.
