Hi all,
Haven't posted on here for almost a year. Unfortunately my dad lost his battle with this cruel disease yesterday. He fought for just over 5 years from diagnosis and was the bravest person I know. His passing was so peaceful and quick with us all by his side. Although I'm heartbroken at the moment, I'm so grateful for the time I was given to create some wonderful memories with him.
For all you brave men out there.... keep fighting

So sorry, Lisa, to hear of you losing your father.

Over 5 years after an initial PSA of 1100 is quite telling...

I'm certain your father appreciated your help and support, perhaps even much more than he was ever able to express clearly.

Sorry you report back here with such sad news. May your dear father RIP, and may you and your family heal your hearts over time, and hope you have many fond memories of him to live on with.

Yes, he's another brave soldier, unfortunately for all of us, the common enemy, Prostate Cancer, does indeed take out victims at too great a rate for my liking. Even one, is too many.
