I hate to rain on this fabulous parade of low and undetectable PSAs, but Gary's psa rebounded back up to just under 1000
But this raincloud does have it's silver lining; his blood work for bone and liver markers is still good. His right side edema is much better too. Not gone, but better!
Since his medonc always looks for a rise in two consecutive tests, he won't be changing any tx until next month. I wanted him to consider adding zytiga in conjunction with the xtandi, based upon current trials and outcomes, but I was overrulled. Current scans may also be in the near future for Gary. Until then, over are going to Hawaii for a week next week, and I will be keeping a close eye on him for signs of rapid deterioration.
Today was a big disappointment for us, but we have felt for some time now that every day is a blessing and not to be taken for granted.
Hold your loved ones close, and make the most of each day!
Beth for Gary
P.S. Didn't update sig line. Not excited about
it, and out of room anyhow
