Hello, David.... I hate when doctors "dismiss" you when there are more concerns to discuss. We have found that questions written on paper produce results. If you recall, we did this with the urologist as he thought the appointment was over. Yep, I was there shaking the paper. All patients deserve respect. I hope there will be a break in the pain. There are so many who do care!

Thanks for the update. I've always been interested in your case. Through all the horrible things you've been through, you are blazing a trail into uncharted territory. And that trail will help others who find themselves in the same miserable predicament to find answers.

Good to hear from you, David, even if the news isn't. I wonder about you when it's been awhile. I'm still hoping for some good news one of these days. Hang in there.

thanks one and all.

will be at the doctor's at 330 tomorrow. at my wits end, this will one serious meeting of minds. I do not intend to walk away without some definitive answers, and a proper treatment plan or at least a course of future actions to alleviate my sufferings. enough is enough, tired of being the nice guy, the patient guy. someone has to care enough to see me through this misery.

Good for you. Time for them to stop blowing you off! No one should have to lib with the kind of pain you're experiencing for so long with no answer and no plan. And get a plan to deal with that PSA rise too! You've gone through too much to give up hope.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

3:30 - It's on my calendar, will send prayers & thoughts that your Dr will be as prepared as you are and that some sort of progress toward a treatment plan can be made.

David, best of luck this afternoon, and I hope you finally get some satisfaction.

If not, and I've said this before, I'd be talking to some place like the Mayo Clinic, where it's my impression you'd be looked at by a whole team of physicians who would come together to reach a consensus regarding diagnosis and treatment, without all this shuffling about and delay.

I wish you all the best and for God's sake, some relief from what you've been going through.

David, by now you would have seen your doctor .. I hope that he has given you what you need.

I cannot agree more with Clocknut, there is absolutely no point sticking to doctors such as your urologist you know are not responsive to you for whatever reason. And if the VA is not responsive to you can you not see doctors outside the VA system? I recall you only got into the VA system a couple of years ago, what is the point of that system for someone like you who has a large number of chronic conditions - you have to wait endlessly to see a php who keeps changing anyway.

I know there will be upheaval in firing your doctors but you are not going to be able to change them or the VA system. So it may be time to bite the bullet and move on.

It is so unfair that one person gets all this put on them. It really is so wrong and you need responsive and competent help. I hope you are strong enough to look for it and find it.

Ultimately though I hope you find relief from all the issues that you face and I wish you the best.
