1st Quadmix injection

This morning went to the Uro with Quadmix, needles and alcohol pads in hand wearing very baggy clothes and the best attitude I could have.

Well he shows how to mix the water from the vial in to the Quad mix vial. Fills the syringe to .2 or 20 units ( not yet up on scale) say's this is where he starts off at tells me to drop them. We go through the how process and he injects me.

Leaves and returns to check on me and the horse about 10 mins later and it was out of the barn ( Great News )

Explains that it should be headed back to the barn in 1 1/2 hrs if not take 1 sudafed and ice pack. If still there in 2 1/2 hrs. call him. 3 hrs. be in the car headed to ER don't wait till 4 hrs. log jam and such at ER may extend it to 5-6 hrs. and that would be bad.

Get home and feel like a 18 year old 1 1/4 hrs go by and it's painful so send wife off to store for Sudafed take 2 and ice pack it. 1 3/4 hrs into the cold shower I go nothing, now not so much fun. Take 2 more Sudafed ice down and wait 2 1/2 hrs and I'm on the phone to Uro office. Come on back in wait will fit you in. Get to parking lot and nurse calls go to ER room next door. But hold on I can't come there no they need to monitor the shot. Hold on who's paying the $300.00 ER room I'll owe. wait please and puts me on hold. Dr get's on the phone we talk and we feel it's trying to go down. Should I take another Sudafed sure your in good health. Off the store 2 miles away I go, 5 people in the line at the pharmacy counter ( Great go figure ). My turn get sudafed head to truck and down the hatch it goes. Well wait in the parking lot or go get new batteries for the truck. Off I go for batteries and finally I corralled the horse and got him back in the barn.

Dr. decided let's knock it down to .1 or 1 unit great call. This is the formula for Quadmix

averine 30mg/mL, Phentolamine Mesylate 4mg/mL, Prostaglandin E1 40mcg/mL, Atropine Sulfate 400mcg/mL

Has any one gone through this much trying to get started I knew going into this it would be a trial and error. I got the error problem today. Also any suggestions on a better way to get the erection down faster next time. I hope this is only a temporary thing in our lives pills don't work anymore after Robotic surgery just goes up and back down. I'm looking for about an hour or so not 4 hrs where I can do every female in a 2 block radius I don't need to be a **** star

After all this my wife and I can kind of laugh at it now that it"s all has turned out ok.

Whoa Nellie! What a story. Really surprised your doc started you off with 20 units straightaway. Your experience was like driving a Ferrari at 100 mph for the first time.

I think your doc said scale back to 10 units. I'd start with 5 units if possible and then work your way up if necessary. The good news is that this medication is going to work for you. Congratulations.

Are you starting with Quadmix, or had you already tried Tri or Bimix with inadequate results?

Started with quad.

Reading the boxes of sudafed that we bought and found out the first one wife bought doesn't have Pseudoephedrine so thinking when at 3 hrs I took the correct meds and it was 120mg total per pill it must of kicked in and I started to deflate within a hr.

Going to cut the dose in half next time don't want this to happen again and if it does at least I have the correct Sudafed.

Yours is a sad but familiar story to me from 8 years ago. My first shot of trimix was .20 ml, twice what I needed actually, had to take multiple sudafeds and pack junior in ice. After 5 hours junior finally gave up and I did not go to ER. Next shot was .05 and then I slowly tweaked it up to the perfect amount of .12 for me, good for two hours max. Now if only I could get my depressed wife interested in sex again, junior can do his job but nobody's interested! Boo..

We went for it last night and I dialed it back to .1 or 10 units that was to much after ice packs and 2 120 mg Sudafed plus a shower it went down after 2 1/2 hrs. Did have a lot of pain the last 2 times next week it's going to be .05 starting and go up or down from there, looking for 45 mins to 1 hr is all. If it works fine if not we'll add extra next time or decrease it some more.

The next if this doesn't work would be to get a lesser strength mixture and maybe the Trimix or Bimix just hate chucking a 100 dollar bill into the trash and sending off another bill for another shot in the dark.

Anyway it has at least stood at attention now twice that's a plus so it's onward and wayward from here. We'll get it dialed in soon enough, and giving myself the shot the first time all that anxiousness was for not it was apiece of cake

I'm sure you have found out by now that there is sudafed and sudafed. Ask for the one with Pseudoephedrine(?). The newer tablets do not have the active ingredient, says it on the box.

My uro gives you a kit: Trimix, Injection needles, swaps and 2 boxes of Pseudoephedrine.

I have been playing around with the dosage and here is the following

3/27 used .05 worked good but still had pain and took 1 120mg sudafed to knock it down took 2 1/2 to 3 hrs

4/2 used .02 worked good not near as hard didn't seem to last as long but went away in less than 1 1/2 hrs and no sudafed

I'm going to go up to .03 next time to find the happy spot. Will use this vial for a while but next order have him cut down the strength or go to Trimix. At this rate I have over 100 injections to a bottle

1 question is am I suppose to have pain in the head of my Willie last time not near as bad as the 3 times before. The times before were this pain is not worth the fun

I have no experience with Quadmix but it appears you have a pretty strong Prostaglandin component at 40mcg/ml and that ingredient is often the cause of pain or aching. Considering the strength of the mix, the starting dose of 0.2 ml was massive.

By comparison my Trimix formula is very weak, 5.9mcg Prostaglandin, 17.6mg Papaverine, 0.65mg Phentolamine and 0.05 ml=5 units did the trick for 3-4 hours. After 5 years of injecting and 3 rounds of intermittent hormone therapy I need 10 units to get the same results and have learned not to fret about duration as long as its not rock hard, cold, blue or painful.

It sounds like you are getting your dosage dialed in for a good balance of duration and hardness but if the pain persists you may have to adjust the components of your mix, particularly Prostaglandin.
