Is that at a Public Hospital? Enquire as to availability of brachytherapy (seeds) and any costs.
It appears that RPA public hospital clinic in Sydney may offer (free? or low cost?) HDR brachytherapy through LifeHouse, using their on-staff radiologists. With the public health system you will not have choice of doctor. Further information, see:

Be well informed with private specialists as their fees will be high, as you have mentioned. If you go private, budget for out of pocket costs of $10,000-$20k. My robotic surgery gap cost me over $10k. I think that best treatment comes from the private system, however, the free public system "can" be just as successful, but maybe not for every patient (=differing skill levels of Dr).
I earlier decided on a T3 MRI scan, which clearly showed one of my two lesions (9mm from memory). Might be worth discussing a parametric MRI at your next doctors visit (cost $300-$700).
