Hi Ziggy,
I just realized from reading Allen's post on another thread that neuroendocrine would not result in your rapid PSA rise.
You mentioned quality of life, and I wondered with both cancers if you are able to be active and are feeling mostly good.
I know when Gary did have chemo, most of the time his qol was good, other than chemo crash days. Even now, he still feels pretty good, even though he sleeps a lot and activity level greatly diminished.
I would have to agree with you about the zytiga not working. I think xtandi takes awhile to kick in, but not so much zytiga. However, after chemo, it might work. New studies have shown it to be more effective after chemo.
My heart really goes out to you Ziggy, and I know Thursday must seem eons away. I do hope you get a good plan that brings you more hope for a positive outcome.
Hang in there bro.
Beth
