The guys that have been through this will be along soon. We've have a few and they seem to have done well. I'll let them speak for themselves.

As to telling your coworkers ... hum, you could just say you're having some plumbing issues.

Of course you don't have to say anything. Do they know you had the prostate surgery?

You've got a few choices - honesty and let them say what they will.
Stonewall - "I have to have a medical procedure, don't want to talk about it."
Humor - "I'm going for a little brain surgery."
Confuse 'um - tell each person privately something different. Gallstones, kidney stones, new hip, heart, lung, etc. Go to a medical dictionary and look up rare diseases.

It's really up to you. Personally I go with humor. When I had my hernia repaired I told my co-workers that I final figure out how to to do heavy lifting at home.

Fairwind, I was not happy with Trimix. Obviously some pain with the shot, but remained uncomfortable for some time after trying. Did not get firmness needed. Plus it was a major mood killer.

Its understandable... Im still confused why no one on this forum who have had penile implants haven't answered your major question... When all else fails google or search archives there are posts that deal with your question.... weariness has set in on HW....don't make me the bad guy again folks...you know it stirs the waters and gets the juices flowing... you take it EZ BR-C..

I don't have any info on implants, but I will say that you must overcome the expectations that sex will be as spontaneous as it once was. Along those lines, the realization that you can do it is a huge step forward. When I got a chubby 6 weeks after surgery, I thought I was ready for the stud farm. Also, I had to prove it to myself before I engaged the wife in my exploits. It was my own personal confidence building process. So it was a one on one game with my brain. Once convinced I had the ability... forget about it.

It's like being a virgin again, man. You're nervous that it's gonna work or be as firm as you'd like... that can be a boner killer... don't go there. There are a horde of guys on here that have gone thru all kinds of erection therapies like you're seeking info on. I hope they chime in for you.

I'm a young guy who at almost 47 now, got an ORP at 42, with a G6 at Hopkins. Keep working at it. Don't go nuclear with the implant until you know that it just won't work with meds. But, as those that have gone the implant route will tell you, it will solve your problem.

Thanks for the feedback. I want to fully vet all the options before I go with the implant. So far, no real success, but I will keep working at it If I go the implant route, I want to make sure I gave everything else an opportunity to work first. Thanks again, BRC.
