It's his age (42), multiple cancer cores (though small in GS-%), with family history that throws me off on the situation. The RISK factor, appears to be a little grey here.
As much as am a advocate for AS, this condition would be hard to sit on with AS nonaggressive treatment. To sleep at night, you have to have absolute faith in your uro and the AS program. Sounds like that faith is not reachable.
