Anyone aware of a documented hypersensitivity to BPA (tomato, beer can linings, etc.) or soy phytoestrogens during HT that accentuates gynecomastia? I started eating a vegan diet after 15 months on HT and coincidentally started to, uh, blossom. Along with the vegan diet, I turned to soy for protein. It makes sense to me that BPA and/or soy products could tip the estrogen balance in an HT reduced T state, My T is running 11 or less so a little estrogen, even a weak one, seems like it could go a long way. We've eliminated all BPA products from the cupboard (not trivial - http://www.ewg.org/ ) and I'm screening everything for soy content (lots of literature on soy and estrogen eg; http://www.menshealth.com/nutrition/soys-negative-effects ). I'm wondering if others have a richer understanding of this issue and can share their knowledge?
