Any partial nerve sparing ED successes out there??

While its been good to get the "<" marks.... it is now 13 months out from RALP surgery and ED is still an issue. As my signature says, I had nerve sparing on the left side, partial sparing on the right. Doc says he saved "about half" of the rt side. I am getting some response on my own, about halfway there on my own with PED5's. I do the shots & pump too, but mainly for therapy. Low dose as well. Truthfully, I hate the shots. They work, but the needle sticks are a total mood killer. So is the ache, even from trimix. Orgasms are actually good. So my question is this, do any of you out there know of ED success stories with partial nerve loss? The doc says it can take up to two years to regain function with full dose PED 5's and he seems to have confidence it will return, but doubt is creeping in. Have any of you lost a nerve bundle and been able to function with PED5's? I could use a success story!

Same age as you at DX, right nerve totally removed, left spared, low dose Viagra for blood flow during the healing process, took 45 days post op for things to work...... no issues to report

I had surgery in April of this year and with the help of 7 units of Trimix I was able to relive past glories. That is until I started hormonal therapy which deflated everything. Bladder control only came back once I started to ride my bike "long distance" (15 to 40 miles). It may be that the bike seat help exercise the pelvic floor.

I lost most (75%) of the nerves on one side also. They put me on Cialis as soon as the catheter was removed. I also used a pump to help with blood flow. For the first 6 months--nothing. It was like trying to shoot pool with a rope. Finally, the Cialis slowly but surely started to kick in. At almost exactly one year I was good to go without meds at all. My wife (9 years my junoir) takes full credit for my complete recovery

Don't give in to despair yet! DH had non nerve sparing surgery 1 year and 9 months ago. he used pump and eventually shots. he started getting usable erections with just a pill around 10 months after surgery, which have kept improving. Unfortunately he now has peyronies, probably from injecting the shots incorrectly.

There have been a few others who recovered erections after non nerve sparing, and others with nerve sparing who have started recovering at 2 to 3 years past surgery. Do a search and you may pull up some posts about them.
