I am so sorry for your loss Susan. Not many of us get to have a life partner like Don. But it does make the end so much harder.

Our dear Susan, I am so sorry to hear that your soul mate and best friend has passed. You have been such a sweet and caring forum member to so many of us and we have been shown by your words that you were the solid rock for your man for so very many years, truly in sickness and in health. It is good that Don was able to share so many quality moments with his loving family. I wish you comfort that I can't convey through words in the coming months and years until you meet up with your love again.

Hello Susan,
We may be continents apart, but I can feel your sense of loss and heartache across the miles and the seas. It will be a tough time ahead of you as you adjust to your new life, but no doubt you will feel your husband's presence in many of the little things you do from day to day. Remember the good times.

Always impossible to say anything appropriate at the loss of a loved one, but only to say so Sorry for the loss your friend and husband of 50 years. He sounded like a great person and partner to share life with. May the peace that surpasses all understanding........

I am so sad to hear of your husbands passing. The two of you have spent more than a lifetime together and it sounds like you had a wonderful marriage, and, truly, what more can we expect. To leave this earth with the love and respect of a soulmate is to leave this earth with grace and dignity. He was and is truly blessed to have you and your family in his life. In tears, I send our love and condolences with lots of prayers for you and the family. And I have no idea how I would have gotten along without finding you here. You're like the original cast and crew at HW.

I don't sign in here everyday like I used to. Todd Seals actually broke the news to me tonight at dinner as he and I are in LA together at a conference.
