Memories..."the pearl of great price

This is the post I tried to write a few weeks back...but went awry...now I know why

Memories are real...not just to feel comfort in a loss...but to know the loss in a way that binds us eternally...to know that person is always there with you...
where they belong...no tears...but in joy...no anger...but in tease...no sadness...but in impatience with reunion that knows no tarry...always...to be able to carry...nay...have...that person with you where ever you go as they carry...memories exist...memories are real...and the grandest evidence of love...life...reality...and yes...even irony...this is why we never get over loss...why would anyone want to....

For you myman and all that struggle with loss and want to be found....be assured of the pearl of great price...bury this pearl deep within...nothing can contain it...

As usual, I didn't understand your post at all, I could only see the literal words, not the intent of what you were writing. My problem, not yours. But from the responses so far, everyone else got it, and that's what is important.

You and I go back a long time here, and I appreciate you own special type of communication. Takes different words to reach different people, and I respect all aspects of that.

My writing exposure and inspirations came from John Steinbeck. I had the unique opportunity to be invited to meet with him in person, but he died shortly after the visit was arranged. He wrote in a real non-abstract realisms that someone like me clearly can see and understand.

I will read your words several more times, and see if I can pick up what you were intending, Keep on keeping on.
