I hesitate to even comment as my SRT just started last week. I've only had three treatments but I could swear I feel a burning sensation in my gut/bladder/whatever. I've had some issues getting the bladder full enough and using a dick clip to hold it in but it hasn't gone very smoothly so far.......
I don't remember any burning sensation but the radiated area could get red and you will lose your hair in that area. A tip for correct bladder volume -
stay well hydrated all of the time. Several of the guys I talked to when I was getting nuked hated drinking water and they paid the price, some of them stayed in the dressing/locker area for an hour or more drinking water. Most of my appointments were in the morning with a couple of afternoons thrown in here and there.
Each morning I drank about
five cups of coffee (my usual caffeine dose) and then would drink 40 ounces of water stopping about
one hour before my appointment. After a few sessions, I was almost always ready to go on the table after the first Doppler scan of bladder volume.
I noticed bladder volume varied quite a bit among the guys, some needed a bunch of water for volume and some not so much like me.
Getting nuked was a walk in the park compared my ADT side effects.
