Good stuff Todd...Do you ever wonder that you may no longer have metastatic disease. My Dr. told me that he has a gentlemen that has been coming in for 10 years now for treatment and he wonders if he really has metastatic disease any longer...Not to get you off guard, just to get you to ask your medical providers that CURED? question

Cured is a huge word. I have toyed with the word in the back of my mind but still, I was diagnosed stage IV. I don't know if anyone has ever been cured with a stage IV diagnosis. Those who
know me best have heard the story of the day I received the news and how I spent an hour or so in the woods cussing out God and telling him what an ass I thought he was. Ironically, having been a youth group leader in church a decade previously, I found solace in the Bible that had remained untouched for the better part of 10 years. I didn't know what to read so I just flopped open the book and pointed with my finger and read 1 verse. It changed my outlook and became my Mantra. Cured, IDK. I am still on Zytiga, prednisone, and Lupron, but at 10 years, 3 months, and 25 days from a stageIV, G-7 diagnosis, I don't care what it is called, I will take it. Sorry for this guys but God is Good.

Not at all. It was psalms 103 vs. 2 and in my version it said " bless the lord oh my soul. He who forgives my sins and heals my body of all its diseases.

Todd, I don't think you've broken any rules. Your simple response may help others and our conversation is quite limited. So happy you've gotten the zero!

Adding to an avalanche of congratulations sent out your way. Thanks for that insight about when you were first diagnosed. I brought my Pastor to the Doctors office when I got the news. He has lifted me and my faith has kept me strong,and guided my path for the past four years.

I watched many games today and this is the only time today I cheered loudly for a zero score. Yeah Todd!!!!!
