Any link between hematuria and PCa?
57-year old
Biopsies in 2010 and 2011 (no PCa found)
PSA increased from 4.3 to 5.0 since 2010.
Yes. In advanced PC, hematuria can be a symptom...but PC is usually really advanced before
any symptom shows up. You don't have advanced PC. At age 57, you probably do have some PC simply because it is a natural part of aging, but you are not one of the rare cases of advanced PC...not with that low PSA and history of negative biopsies.
But there is a very long list of things that causes one's pee to turn red-ish, including foods and medications. If you can't directly attribute red-ish pee to one of those, then you should see your doctor...cuz you may have something going on which should be attended to.
