Hi all,

Have a friend up near Philadelphia who has been dx'd with PCa.

He is considering going to Temple School of Med.

Anyone have anything info on them? Best doc to see, whatever you can give.

imho, the best in the Philly area would be Fox Chase, but there are some good doctors at UOP and Thomas Jefferson as well.

No, but there are not one but two NCCN Comprehensive Cancer Centers within about 10 miles of Temple:

1) Fox Chase, and
2) Abramson (at Penn)

The Fox Chase Cancer center is 'associated with' the Temple U Health System but I don't know if this means that the friend (see the first post in this thread) will be seen by the specialists at Fox Chase.

I agree with TA. I donated my prostate in 2011 via the DaVinci Robot at FCCC with Dr. David Chen at the controls. They are excellent in every respect.

Dr. Lee at UPENN is one of the most outstanding surgeons in the Philadelphia area. Good Luck.
