-----------------------------------
weird episode today. keeps getting stranger.
wife went to bedroom to take 1 hr nap before leaving for work at 2 pm today. Asked me to wake her up at 1:50. Told her no problem, as I was wide awake sitting on couch with laptop on the net, and kept an eye of the wall clock.
last thing I remember. Looked at clock, was 1:45, thought 5 more minutes, looked back at computer screen. next time my eyes blinked, it was 4 pm. I just woke up, in bed, in our spare bedroom, and I was fully clothed under the covers. Totally confused.
Texted wife later at work. She said she got up on her own at 1:48 and I was standing in the hall and supposedly said to her "my eyes are so tired I can't keep them open". She went into the bathroom. Ten minutes later, she looked for me and couldn't find me. Finally she saw me in the spare bed, appearing to be asleep. She said she came back and told me she was leaving for work, but I seemed to be out of it.
Very puzzling and baffling to me. Drugs? No, I hadn't even had any pain medication in me yet, forgot to take my noon med pass. And I never, ever get in bed clothed fully, always take off my pants even when taking a nap, or at least have my robe on. Makes no sense, I have no conscious memory of anything that happened after 1:45.
Not the first time, had an episode where I was driving to a medical appointment, been there a million times, and blinked my eyes and it was 10 minutes exactly later. I was within 5 minutes of being on time, and right on course. Could not account for the 10 minutes.
Had told neurologist and the PTSD counselor that I have been having minor memory glitches recently. Today though, including sleep, I blinked out for over 2 hours.
Can't wait till the neuro can finish testing and seeing results of latest brain MRI behind me. Not saying this is the case, but have read of brain tumors causing blank outs of memories. This is something neuro wants to quickly rule out.
Yes, I am chocked fully of issues, never a boring day being me
