Had to smile when I read that, as it reminded me that I, too, still have those four beautiful, meaningful U.S. postage stamps with the PC theme that you so graciously and generously sent to me some time ago.
I pulled out the paper folder where I had been keeping them and took another look at them. They are still so very significant in what they remind us and the public of:

Yes, David, it is extraordinary, as many are pointing out, that for 8 years and through 25,000 plus posts you have remained here as a tower of strength, knowledge and encouragement for so many who have come here.
As I have suggested to Todd1963 at times, that there is a Reason why he arrived here and has been telling his story, one that has and continues to influence so many. Could it be that this is true for you as well? That maybe when you were searching the web that first day years ago, and found this forum, that you, like Todd, were
meant to find HW PC, and
meant to post here, and to educate, encourage and inspire those so many that you have done so for these past eight years? Perhaps, like Todd, it was your destiny to be here, to do this.
And the way you have dealt with your situation is a monument to determination and endurance. It reminds me of the near final scene from the film "Papillon," when the protagonist, now adrift on the ocean on a makeshift raft, cries out:
/www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPb8tb3D6N0the "******s" being the pain, the suffering, the injustice of it all which he has had to so courageously face for years. And after all that he has had to go through, he still has the guts to cry out "I'm still here!"
You have earned the right to say that as well if you wish, that in spite of all that you have been through, you have still shown the "guts" that it takes to be such a survivor, to be "still here"!
I know we all continue to wish you every encouragement as you continue your battle, David, you know we're here for you, and, as always, we look forward to your ongoing posts.
