Just lost my friend of 48 years

My friend just lost his battle with lung,brain,and bladder cancer today.Dx 6 years ago with stage 4 lung cancer. He battled the beast every day but he had no more fight him. Please say a prayer for him if you could his name was Edward.

I know from first-hand experience that it's hard to lose a friend ... especially friends who become like family, over the course of years.

I'm thankful for all the years you had together with your friend --- almost 50 years of friendship. That's a blessing, but it's hard to lose someone who's been part of your life for so long.

Prayers and thoughts for you, as well as for your friend's family.

Your friend found peace at the end of the road --- and he is now sheltered from the storms of life.

Not many people can brag about 48-year friendship. You both were so lucky. I am sure your support made his fight a bit brighter. So sorry. Will say a prayer.
