Finished Chemotherapy

Hey everyone. Last night I finished my 6th and final round of chemotherapy. My PSA is down to .10 and my MO is very pleased with the response. So a mini-celebration is in order. I feel like a milestone of some type has been met, even though this is a marathon, not a sprint.

The next big decision will be to enter the trial of surgical treatment or radiation to the primary prostate tumor versus standard therapy. I am leaning towards entering the trial as a way to stay aggressive given my overall good progress.

Thanks to all who post and support on this side. Since this journey began 6 months ago this site has been informational, therapeutic, supportive and yes, sometimes we can even laugh here while we encourage each other.

Six rounds in the boxing ring with those SIX chemotherapy treatments --- they delivered a KNOCK-OUT punch against your P.S.A., for which I give thanks.

Weekend ahead --- my advice, from one "Chemo Comrade" to another ? Do a little celebrating this weekend !
